چکیده

The microclimate of plant communities varied with energy balance, turbulent exchange and thermal status of the soil surface. Available net radiation is the balance between incoming and outgoing radiation which is the main source of energy in the earth system. The balance of energy at the earth’s surface is closely associated with the overlying atmospheric boundary layer (Roxy et al., 2014). The total available energy and partitioning of it into different components such as sensible heat (h), latent heat (LE) and soil heat fluxes (G) influences the production of the crop very strongly. Numerous studies have been made to investigate the nature of radiation balance at the crop surface. Huband and Monteith (1986) studied radiative surface temperature and energy balance of a wheat International Journal of Current Microbiology and Applied Sciences ISSN: 2319-7706 Volume 6 Number 10 (2017) pp. 130-137 Journal homepage: http://www.ijcmas.com

A comparative study of mass and energy exchange over a closed C3 (wheat) and an open C4 (corn) canopy: I. The partitioning of available energy into latent and sensible heat exchange

Eddy correlation measurements of mass and energy were made simultaneously over a closed wheat and an open corn crop. This combination of crops, differing in canopy coverage and stomatal physiology, facilitated an investigation on how surface and environmental variables control the partitioning of net radiation into sensible, latent and soil heat exchange. Contrasts in canopy closure had a minor...

Evaluating the Crop Water Stress Index and its correlation with latent heat and CO2 fluxes over winter wheat and maize in the North China plain

Plant water status is a key factor impacting crop growth and agricultural watermanagement. Cropwater stress may alter canopy temperature, the energy balance, transpiration, photosynthesis, canopy water use efficiency, and crop yield. The objective of this study was to calculate the Crop Water Stress Index (CWSI) from canopy temperature and energy balance measurements and evaluate the utility of...

Modelling surface energy fluxes over maize using a two-source patch model and radiometric soil and canopy temperature observations

Models estimating surface energy fluxes over partial canopy cover with thermal remote sensing must account for significant differences between the radiometric temperatures and turbulent exchange rates associated with the soil and canopy components of the thermal pixel scene. Recent progress in separating soil and canopy temperatures from dual angle composite radiometric temperature measurements...

Canopy Resistance as Affected by Soil and Meteorological Factors in Potato

E (Rn G) cp{es[T(z)] e(z)}/ra (ra rc)/ra [1] Precision irrigation requires a method of quantifying the crop water status or root zone depletion of water to determine when and how where E is the latent heat of vaporization (J m 2 s 1), much water to apply to the soil. Changes in canopy resistance (rc) the change of saturation vapor pressure with temperaand canopy temperatures have the potential ...

A comparison of operational remote sensing-based models for estimating crop evapotranspiration

The integration of remotely sensed data intomodels of evapotranspiration (ET) facilitates the estimation of water consumption across agricultural regions. To estimate regional ET, two basic types of remote sensing approaches have been successfully applied. The first approach computes a surface energy balance using the radiometric surface temperature for estimating the sensible heat flux (H), an...
